I am a composer, arranger, saxophonist, and educator inspired by the rich traditions of American jazz, Latin music, and contemporary composition.

Among my greatest influences are the American Jazz Standards, which I believe are some of the finest gifts ever given to the musical arts. These songs deserve not only to be remembered, but to remain a living part of today's musical landscape.

Whether it's a big band chart, a chamber work, or something in between, I'm drawn to music that tells a story and brings people together. From the timeless craftsmanship of Harry Connick Jr. to the contemporary energy of Silk Sonic, with touches of Amy Winehouse and Al Hurricane, I find inspiration in unexpected combinations and write with equal parts curiosity, purpose, and fun.
